Let’s blow our Book Blast out of the water! We have only a few days left, so now is the time to act. You have until Sunday night at midnight to contribute. Thank you to everyone in our community and beyond that has contributed to our Book Blast event! Your support has helped every student to go home with at least one new, exciting book to read, and some students will earn up to 10. With a focus on the promotion of literacy and reading, a new book is like gold to be treasured! Books will be delivered and distributed to students in four to six weeks.

The high seas have never looked more beautiful.....or been so smart! We’re sailing through our adventure to earn as many books as possible for our students, and we’re having fun along the way. Today, we announced the winner of the iPad! Congratulations, Jonathan Dickey! The Book Blast is going strong as we approach these last few days of the event. The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions from each grade level will be awarded a $100 Book Blast shopping spree. On top of that, the student with the highest dollar amount of contributions in the school will be awarded an additional $100 shopping spree. So, one student winner will be going home with a total of $200 in Book Blast shopping sprees! There's still time to register. You have until 11:59pm Friday night to get those contacts in. Every student who has 10 contacts or more will get the Treasure Map Prizes! Land ho! Our 3rd Book Blast Treasure Chest stuffed with cash winner has found the loot today. Congratulations, Hailey Pike! We have more prizes to be awarded with our Book Blast event! Some info about Book Blast: your contact info and the contact info of the ones you sent requests to will NOT be shared or sold. Once our event closes that info will no longer be used for anything from the Book Blast company. Also, students have until Jan 27 to enter their contact info. 🗽Liberty Foundation Super Citizen🗽 Today, our 5th grade students from Mrs. Key’s class and Mrs. Howze’s class got to go to the Liberty Foundation Super Citizen meeting at Temple Baptist Church. Our Addison Bridges was honored to be chosen to share about her “Super Citizen,” her grandfather!! She had the opportunity to share about Ronald Bridges’ many accomplishments with the crowd and the many reasons he is so important to her and so many others!! He is a Liberty Foundation Super Citizen, and we appreciate him!! Well done, Addison Bridges!!
