Due to the risk of severe weather, Cullman County Schools will be remote again tomorrow. (Thursday 2/16/23). There is a strong possibility for tornadoes and I believe that parents should be able to make the decision to carry their children to a storm shelter as needed. If storms are not in our area students should use this time to catch up on any school work or spend time practicing their reading. Thank you and please stay safe. - Shane Barnette

Last week in the library, the students talked about Groundhog Day and designed and created a structure to prevent the groundhog from seeing his shadow. They had a variety of materials to work with and came up with some great designs.

8th Grade Trip to C.A.T.A. We had a great time touring C.A.T.A. today. They have 15 different programs our students can take advantage of next year when they go into high school here in Cullman County! Today, we announced the winner of the iPad! Congratulations, Jonathan Dickey! The Book Blast is going strong as we approach these last few days of the event. The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions from each grade level will be awarded a $100 Book Blast shopping spree. On top of that, the student with the highest dollar amount of contributions in the school will be awarded an additional $100 shopping spree. So, one student winner will be going home with a total of $200 in Book Blast shopping sprees! There's still time to register. You have until 11:59pm Friday night to get those contacts in. Every student who has 10 contacts or more will get the Treasure Map Prizes!
