Congratulations to the band - Today they traveled to UNA perform for the ABA District 3 Music Performance Assessment and received an overall Excellent rating with a perfect score in Sight Reading. It's Great to be a Raider!

Following today's National Weather Service briefing, Dr. Barnette has decided to have a remote learning day on Friday, March 3, 2023. Cullman County will be under a rare high wind warning beginning tomorrow. We are expecting sustained winds 30-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH, well above safe operating conditions for school buses. The NWS says to expect - and be prepared - for downed trees and power outages. Students will be provided assignments to complete tomorrow.

Due to the risk of severe weather, Cullman County Schools will be remote again tomorrow. (Thursday 2/16/23). There is a strong possibility for tornadoes and I believe that parents should be able to make the decision to carry their children to a storm shelter as needed. Bid Number 09-23 We are taking bids on lawn care services for Good Hope Elementary, Middle and High School campuses. All bids must be sealed and submitted by March 8th to Dr. John Hood, Good Hope High School, 210 Good Hope School Road, Cullman, AL 35057. The sealed bids will be opened on March 9th at 8:30 am. Your bid will be for mowing two times per month and billed at once per month from April 1 until October 31, 2023.

Good Afternoon: This week begins the post season tournaments for our basketball teams. Per AHSAA, the tickets for all remaining games will only be sold through GoFan. Good Morning, For a student absence, we must receive a note within three days of returning to school. Please note: Our fax machine is down. Please DO NOT send an excuse through fax. We can only receive an excuse through email at GHHS@ccboe.org or a note brought to school by the student. We are aware that some doctors' offices will not email excuses. If that is the case, please take a picture of the excuse and email it to GHHS@ccboe.org or send it by your child. After three school days upon a student's return, the absence will be unexcused and cannot be changed. Thanks for your help with this.
